Welcome to the web page of the CIBER of Respiratory Diseases (CIBERES).
CIBERES is a multidisciplinary research network with the main aim of fighting respiratory diseases by fostering excellence in research and transferring this quickly and safely to clinical practice.
To accomplish our objectives we have 34 clinical and basic research groups at National Health System hospitals, Universities and Excellence Research Centres all over Spain. This means that our group has 400 researchers on the top national and international level in our area.
This web page contains information on our Research Projects and Programmes, our supporting research and on our scientific results.
The CIBERES centre is open to cooperation. Therefore, I would like to encourage national and international research groups wishing to carry out research in this field, or in connected fields, as well as any companies interested in developing and transferring innovation in the field of respiratory diseases, and associations of patients affected by these diseases who are interested in cooperating with us, to get in touch with our managers or researchers. We are sure that we will find some way of working together to achieve common aims.
